The Northern Long-eared Bat is listed as threatened under the federal Endangered Species Act. There are two current EORs for NLEB in the I-355 corridor. We were able to confirm the locations still have NLEB in 2022.
We used acoustic monitors to document the species present at sites along I-355.
We detected 8 bat species: Big Brown, Eastern Red, Hoary, Silver-haired, Northern long-eared, Little Brown, Evening, and Tricolored in the I-355 corridor in 2022.
