In 2024 we began our full corridor surveys for I-90 and established long-term monitoring sites at Ipsen/Lib Conservation Area, Freeman Kame – Meagher Preserve, Trout Park/Fox River Sites, and Busse Woods.
Along I-90 there are:

- 76 municipal parks
- 138.78 ha of public lands in the RPBB High Potential Zone
- 127.86 ha of public lands in the RPBB Low Potential Zone
- 104.14 ha of public lands with at least 51% canopy cover
- 53 stream crossings
- 2,265 ha of 831 wetlands
Within 1 mile, there are:
- 8 Illinois Nature Preserve Commission sites (INPCs)
- Busse Forest Nature Preserve, Del Webb Sedge Meadow and Grove Natural Preserve, Fox River Fen Nature Preserve, Fox River Forested Fen Nature Preserve, Shoe Factory Road Nature Preserve, Sleepy Hollow Ravine Nature Preserve, Trout Park Nature Preserve, and Stone Bridge Trail Land and Water Reserve.
